The TATHA Gallery lies on the beautiful banks of the River Tay commanding spectacular views westwards towards Perth, north towards Dundee and the new V&A designed by Kengo Kuma. The gallery is situated in Newport on Tay in a large white Georgian building at the bottom of the high street. Tatha Gallery forms part of the building known as The Newport.
Newport-on-Tay is a small, bustling town in north-east Fife, Scotland. The Fife Coastal path passes right past our door. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by wonderful views up and down river with commanding vistas of both The Tay Rail and Road Bridges. Landscape, seascapes and skyscapes can be enjoyed all within a few miles radius of Newport with Kinshaldy beach at Tentsmuir being popular draw. Dundee is within an 2.5 mile walk from the gallery and regular buses travel regularly over the bridge north to Dundee. The golfing town of St. Andrews is only a 20 minute drive away.
Newport is the perfect to escape to. Come and unwind and relax, enjoy the art and food and views all under the one roof and yet be only a short distance away from Dundee and all it has to offer.
