The TATHA Gallery lies on the beautiful banks of the River Tay commanding spectacular views westwards towards Perth, north towards Dundee and the new V&A designed by Kengo Kuma. The gallery is situated in Newport on Tay in a large white Georgian building at the bottom of the high street. Tatha Gallery forms part of the building known as The Newport.
Newport-on-Tay is a small town in north-east Fife in Scotland. The Fife Coastal path passes through Newport. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by views of the expanse between the two bridges that cross the River Tay, The Tay Road and Rail Bridge. Landscape, seascapes and skyscapes can be enjoyed all within a few miles radius of Newport with Kinshaldy beach at Tentsmuir being popular draw. Dundee is within an 2.5 mile walk from the gallery and regular buses travel regularly over the bridge north to Dundee. The golfing town of St. Andrews is only a 20 minute drive away.
