Coming up in the second half of 2021

At last, after having been postponed in January, we are excited to finally be hosting a group show of selected artists from the Society of Scottish Artists (SSA). Each artist has brought their own vision, ideas and ways of working, but collectively we can confirm that this show is filled to the brim with creativity, colour, sensitivity, boldness and beauty! The show continues until 24th July

Following this show we again celebrate our beautiful Scottish landscape in a show bringing together the works of Helen Glassford, Ruth Brownlee, Dawnne McGeachy and – a new artist to the gallery - Martyn McKenzie.

We’re bringing the outside inside with beautiful landscapes from the environs of Glasgow to the Highlands and beyond.

Friday 3rd September will see the opening of our next, highly-anticipated show, an exhibition of prints by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham. We are thrilled to be hosting an exhibition of the works of such a respected and prestigious artist and we can safely say that this show is going to pack a punch!  We hope to be able to host a proper unrestricted preview for this show – and we’re keeping our fingers well and truly crossed for this! We will keep you posted.

Alongside Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, in our small gallery,Hetty Haxworth will be exhibiting some of her latest works in print and we are delighted to say that Hetty will also be giving a print demo in the gallery –which we are very excited about! Details to follow.

Following this is a very exciting show in which we are collaborating with Visual Arts Scotland (VAS) to bring to the gallery a group show of selected VAS artists. This exhibition will showcase the breadth of talent and the variety of disciplines they are known for and we are certain it will be a fascinating and refreshing addition to our programme.
