Tatha News January 2020

January 18, 2020

Coming up in 2020 at Tatha Gallery.

Our first show of the year opened on the 17th January. We are delighted to celebrate this superb show by recent Duncan of Jordanstone Graduates. The work is fresh and forward thinking and a delight to have in our space.

This is beginning of an exciting year of exhibitions.  On Friday 21st February we open a three person show which is about the direct response to the environment.   Catherine Ross, Stuart Buchanan and Joseph Calleja's contrasting work will surely inspire.

Our third show of the year is landscape inspired with work by news artists to the gallery Allan Macdonald and Eva Ullrich.  We very much look forward to bringing this work together.

Our fourth show is all about watercolour showing two artists Claire Harkess in the main gallery with Madeleine Hand work in our second space.

In the summer-time Helen Glassford, Nerine Tassie and John Brown will share the gallery space to offer a journey into the Scottish landscape and September packs a punch with the abstract print making of Wilhelmina Barns-Graham.  We are delighted to host this exhibition by such a prestigious artist.

October sees the return of Norman Gilbert.  We regret to share the news that Norman passed away just before Christmas. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed at Tatha and we hope to celebrate his life’s work with an exhilarating exhibition that will bring joy to many.
