Ramon Robertson Artist Statement 2026
My artwork engages with aspects of architecture and human society, and themes linked to human nature, conditioning, and behaviour in the city are concepts explored. Many of my works adhere to themes linking to the relationship between people and artificial structural form, making reference to the hidden syndicate of people involved in the creation of the city...., like a homage to the thinkers, planners and creators of the world we inhabit. For this reason, there is often a figurative element in my work, but the figure is used as a tool to explore the themes and
sometimes idiosyncratic concepts I research, often manifesting in experimental works that are varied and developmental
