Rhona Taylor is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work includes installations, painting, printmaking, photography and sculpture. She uses colour, materials, light and surface to explore the relationship between two and three dimensions.
Her work often responds to, physically interacts with and manipulates different spaces and surfaces. Much of her work is concerned with mapping and the navigation of space, as well as the boundaries and transitions of place and time.
She often makes work in response to particular places, in areas that are perceived as being remote or isolated. She’s particularly drawn to the sea, coast, islands and the extreme reaches of land.
